Naked in the snow

I'm a bit of a dare, and I don't mind being cold. Just as well when you're nude on a visit to Iceland in December!

On Christmas Day on the year before last, the snow had been heavy in Reykjavik. My hotel room had a small balcony, so I walked out onto it - naked, of course - leaving bare footprints, and threw a snowball down onto the street.

I don't think anyone saw me, but that's not the point. It was an expression of freedom within nature, and that's what matters. And it was fun!

There is something special about being naked in the snow. On a sunny day with no wind it can be quite warm.

Ollygrumps; great shots of you in the snow! Unfortunately Iceland can be very windy - it was gusting 60+ mph (c. 100 kph or c. 27 mps if you prefer) when I was on the lava fields of Reykjanes. Thankfully it was a lot calmer when I threw that snowball.
