Simple cheap Whiskey .

Nov . 24 , 2019 . I drink cheap Canada House whiskey , although I will try other Whiskeys if others have it available . Use it for Homemade Irish Creme . Why buy the bottled stuff when it's cheaper to make your own . And it tastes better .

Also use the Canada House brand when making Apple Cheddar Whiskey Pie . Cooking apples cut up and mixed with spices , shredded Cheddar cheese , and a good dollop of whiskey added for flavor . Mix it together and throw into a prepared pie crust . Bake it and eat it warm . Very good .

I'm always looking for a good brand of inexpensive whiskey. The ones I truly enjoy are far too expensive to drink with any regularity. What would you recommend? I have also not made my own whiskey so I don't even know where to start.

I drink Scottish single malt whisky (no e). I like it as it comes direct from the bottle, undiluted. There is only one blended whisky which is comparable - J&B (made by a company which supplies the UK Queen and many previous monarchs). Other blended whisky (and whiskeys) are very sharp on the throat.
