What can people do about humping dogs?

I do not have a dog personally but we went over to someones house we had met at a nudist resort. After I had taken off my clothes everything was cool but I got up to go to the bathroom and on the way back their very large dog just jumped on me and kept trying to hump me, and he preceded to do that until I ended up having to put my clothes back on.

I have never really been around dogs much before so my question is : Is this normal behavior? Did it have anything with me going to the bathroom or being naked or does these peoples dog have some type of behavioral issue? Once I put my clothes back on the issues pretty much stopped. I was pretty shocked while everyone else just couldn't stop laughing.

Has anyone ever had this problem ever??

I can understand everyone laughing. Some dogs just hump - they hump anything. But you may have had a scent on you which attracted the dog. I have felt a wet nose up my kilt. I just had to walk away. Another time a dog sniffed my bum (as they do with other dogs and then moved round the front!

Humping is usually a dominance thing. Give him a good shove with your knee (don't kick him though), tell him OFF!, then make him sit. That almost always puts an end to the behavior.

That is correct, it is a dominance issue. My girlfriends dog which is female used to hump me or make humping movements around me to assert her dominance in regard to her master. After a while when she got used to me hanging around the house naked the activity stopped.

ok If we go back over there I will have to try that, because really kind of makes me worried to be around them naked if that is going to happen. It was funny as first but when they pulled me down and jumped on my back really freaked me out

I found a great device called Barx Buddy it stops dogs barking an bad habits look it up and see if would work for you barxbuddy.con

Should have let him have fun. as long as he didnt hurt you. You must have a nice sent and he liked it.
where was his owner? They might have him trained?
