RE:New year resolution people at the gym

I go naked in locker room also.. and in steam room, towel open. There used to be a sign on steam room that "appropriate" attire to be worn. Which to me is towel or nothing. The sign disappeared.

IF he meant could NOT care less then I agree.

ANNIE HERE

Of course Thomas is right. POST #17

I COULD care less and I could NOT care less have two opposite meanings.

Yes! Why does anyone confuse this statement.
Yes I do care.
No I do not care.

RE:New year resolution people at the gym

I've never even considered if my being naked in the locker room affects anyone else. Nor do I care.
The locker rooms, men's and women's, are there to serve a function.
You go into the venue, get changed ... do what you're there to do (in my case I use the gym equipment, go for a sauna and steam) then head back to the locker room. I get out of my sweaty gym stuff, or my swim shorts..... I'm now naked..... grab my shower stuff and a towel (which goes over my shoulder. Why would I spend an extra minute wrapping it round me... I'm going for a shower lol.

After my shower I usually run my hands over me to 'squeegee' the excess water off me. Grab my shower stuff grab my towel and head back into the main part of the locker room. Although this time my towel IS wrapped round me for the walk to my locker.

In my experience... it's very difficult to dry oneself with the towel wrapped round ones waist.
You don't dry that way at home ... why look a tit and do it at the locker room.

Once I'm at my locker, I'm gonna get that towel and dry myself the same as I would do at home. I HATE putting on clothes if I am wet. And I certainly won't stay in sweaty clothes just to drive home and shower there when there's a perfectly good locker room with great facilities at the gym included in my membership fee. :-)

I'm there for myself, no one else. If people want to watch me dry go right ahead but I'm taking no notice of anyones reactions. Different if I were to walk about 'showing off my nudity' or as I have seen a guy doing at my gym ... sat on the bench by his locker and having a wank.
Each to their own. I'm not offended by it, I just don't care what others are up to in the locker room. I'm there to get fitter, grab a steam or a sauna (as a treat to myself for actually doing my full gym set) get cleaned up after being very sweaty and go home for a coffee.

I also DO take the time to chat to others while I'm in the locker room weather I'm naked or not. If that convo happens to start in the locker room and we both head to the showers... we carry on the convo.. Sometimes there are guys in the locker room who don't chat, and I'll respect that. Likewise there are those I see regularly and we have great convos while doing what we're in there to do.... but I always say 'Hi' when I walk in if people are in there.
I've had many a great convo in the locker rooms and picked up some very useful tips about using the machines, or floor exercises to try when in the gym. But then chatting with complete strangers comes naturally to me because of my job.

The point of my post: ... I'm in there to get changed, use the gym, sauna and steam facilities. Afterwards use the showers..... I will not change how I get dressed / undressed / showered or dried .just because some people may be offended I'm nude. It's a locker room ... get over yourselves. If you can't accept there will be nude / semi nude guys in there ... get a home gym and don't come to the public ones :-)
