Nude gigs - which ones have you been to?

Hi,

Have any of you ever been to nude gigs where you the audience is nude and/or the performers are nude? What do you reckon to them?

I like artists like The SoapGirls and Soko, because they have encouraged their audiences to join them nude or half nude on stage. The SoapGirls are a French-born but South African based feminist punk trio fronted by two guitarist sisters Naomi Debray (rhythm guitar and vocals) and Camille Debray (bass and vocals), and a male drummer.

They all perform topless on stage, and for one of their songs called "Society's Rejects", they invite members of their audience to get their gear off and dance nude with them.

Now that's what you call a performance! :-)

Here in Los Angeles we've done plays and bi-monthly comedy shows in which the performers as well as the audience are nude.
In every performance, for roughly one quarter to one third of the audience, it's their first socially nude experience.
