Nude in the Castro
There IS a nudity ban in San Francisco, but it is very minimal. You only need to cover your front genitals in order to be legal. Also, exceptions include any city sanctioned event, i.e. street fairs. That's why you see a lot of total nudity at Folsom, Dore Alley, and Pride.
