RE:Shooting For 30 Days Naked

Day 8 - Temps are warming back up again, though still somewhat chilly. At least the winds died down. High temp was 63. I did go out for a walk today, but only about a mile total. I was curious to see what other tire tracks and shoeprints had become erased by the rains. It's interesting to think how such a trivial curiosity had been stirring in my mind. But, I think when your day to day life becomes this simplified, you tend to think of stuff like that.

I recall seeing a thread on TrueNudists about the age-old discussion on whether or not nudism is a form of sexuality. These past several days that I've been able to go for a walk outdoors, naked, I haven't felt anything sexual. No eroticism, no fantasy, not even the sense of being naughty. On the other hand, when I started this 30-day challenge, I did feel those feelings. So, I think that the exhilaration of taking all your clothes off and stepping outside does release a surge of Dopamine. But after being naked for a full week, that hormonal rush just isn't there.

Instead, I'm at a point where my body and brain has started to accept full-time nudity as just normal. At this point, I don't even think about looking out of the window to see if any other campers are around before stepping outside. I just go outside. In fact, I don't even think about if anyone else is in the general area before taking a one, two, or three mile hike away from my trailer. I just keep on walking like it's natural.

The desert is starting to take on more color. There are these tiny yellow flowers opening up everywhere. See attached photo...

Being naked for 30 days straight would be a wonderful luxury. But shooting beyond a few seconds to 30 days is beyond imaginable. Edging for hours is a better goal.

RE:Shooting For 30 Days Naked

I'm naked the majority of the time since I live in the country with no close neighbors and work from home. When it's cold, I'll wear a shirt during the day but always sleep naked. Most I've gone is 14 days straight. It was in the summer so being outside was fine. I even walked down the long driveway naked, made sure no cars were coming then checked the mail box. Finally had to put on shorts to go get groceries, but an hour later I back in the nude!

sounds awesome! and you have your twin (your reflection in your avatar) to keep you naked company, too.

Do you own relatively little clothing since you rarely wear any?

Day 9 - It warmed up a little bit more today. I decided to take a chance, and get into my truck and go for a ride, naked of course. About a mile from where I'm camped, is the paved road. I drove for about 8 miles heading south until it change to a dirt road. From there I continued driving until I found what looked to be a place with lots of Palo Verde trees and what looked like a well-used camping site. I parked there, and went for a walk. Looking at Google Maps on my phone, I estimated I walked for about 6 miles. I was plenty wore out. I'm not quite in the shape I'd like to be.

When I got back to my truck, I had a lunch, and then reclined the seat back to rest. I ended up taking a nap. Probably my longest time spent naked and away from my trailer. Somehow, the longer I wander naked away from "home", the more naked I feel. Mind you, I didn't take any "emergency clothes" with me. The idea of having clothes readily available seems to make nudity feel less nude. I don't know. I've often thought about it, along with nudism in general, and I've yet to fully put my finger on what it is about wandering about with no clothing that seems so profound.

While driving to and back, there were some cars and trucks that passed by going the opposite direction. No one turned around and followed me to ask why I was naked, so either they didn't care, or didn't notice. Probably the latter. Albeit, it's a rather lonely road.

When I got back to my trailer, I noticed another truck and trailer camped about a mile south of me.

Attached is a photo of me posing. I don't have a tripod to get my cellphone raised high enough, thus it ended up focusing on the ground.

Day 10 - Warmer again today. I took the scooter for an extended ride today. I didn't mention the scooter? It's a little 50cc Honda. I went out about 4 miles down the BLM road. The road gets pretty soft in places, and very rocky in others. Otherwise, looking at the road on Google Satellite Map, it looks like it goes for dozens of miles. I got to a point where the road was getting more rocky, and it didn't look like it was going to let up any time soon, so I turned around. I spotted a cross road along the way, and I figure I can go explore that another day.

My trailer is a toy hauler. We don't have a lot of toys aside from this scooter. Otherwise, the toy hauler is great because because it ca carry more cargo weight than travel trailers. I like to think I've paired down my belongings to just the essentials, which is a light load of clothes, my laptop and computer gear, a few toiletries, and tools. I do have "other things" in this trailer, but they are not things I consider myself attached to. For example, I have a frying pan, a coffee cup, the scooter... But these are things that I wouldn't take with me if I had to abandon everything and carry only what I could in a backpack.

My wife considers herself a minimalist, or at least a fan of minimalism, but yet has far more things that she can't seem to live without. When we took on the life of living on the road, she cleared out lots and lots of stuff. She went from 80-90 pairs of shoes, down to about 12 pair of shoes (now in this trailer). That's why she sees herself as a minimalist. Myself, I have 2 pairs of shoes, my boots, and my sandals. She realizes that guys can minimize far more than women, but there's just no way for to limit herself to just boots and sandals.

Yesterday, I reported seeing another trailer camped nearby. It is still there. They are about a mile away. I didn't see the occupants around anywhere today.

Attached photo is of my riding the scooter through the desert. I found a rock I could sit my cellphone on, and then set it to a 10 second delay. Then I had to hurry up and get moving...
