Traveling and nude sleeping
I have abroad now for almost four weeks and have managed to sleep nude for all but the nights spent aboard planes or in airports. Somehow I think both South African Air and Emirates Air might have banned me from flying if I had tried. And I am sure Dakar Senegal's airport would have escorted me to a third world jail. But tent camping and hotel rooms and even the shared night with three fellow travelers in a home stay I managed to bare all. Most nights the temps have been perfect for sleeping atop any covers. Got a two week group tour coming up next. I hope there are two other solo male travelers I can rotate rooms with to get more exposure.
When my wife and I are traveling, when we are in the room for more than a few minutes, bedtime or not, I take everything off.
On the rare occasions we are staying at someone's house or a facility with a shared bath, I will pull on shorts only for the trip to the bathroom.
I have always slept naked since I was 13. I am always naked when I am at home or in my backyard as well. I do the same when I am traveling, when I am in my hotel room, I'm always naked sleeping or not. I even sleep naked while attending conferences for work with a colleague in the room. I just tell them, BTW I sleep naked hope you don't mind... I'd say 80% of the newer colleagues, said great so do I.. If we stay at non-nude friends houses relatives house, we still sleep naked and I will even walk to the bathroom in the middle of the night naked.
I always sleep naked when I am at home. And I do the same when I am travelling. Actually when I am in my hotel room I am naked most of the time - sleeping or not sleeping. When I sleep in hotels I usually sleep on top of the duvet cover totally exposed. It has happened a few times when I was sleeping late in the morning and had forgotten to turn on the do-not-disturb sign - that hotel staff have entered my room to do the cleaning and found me naked on the bed ... thats when I usually wake up - but it is then too late - the damage is already done ... but I think this may not be an uncommon experience for them - each time it has happened they have quickly and discretely left the room ...
When I enter a hotel room I switch on the heating and when it is warm enough, usually after an hour, I am naked.
Then I leave the room (with clothing) to do my work. Each time I come back to room I am directly naked. I do naked work on my laptop, I do naked dinner and of course I sleep naked. I like it when it is really warm, 25 degrees C, I sleep either with one sheet or on top of the sheets.
