Meersburg Therme, Lake Constance (Bodensee)

This isn't so much a nudist site, but by far one of the most open and relaxed Sauna's I have been to with regards to nudity. I visited the Meersburg Therma on Saturday 8th February 2020, and spent a wonder day, almost entirely nude.

While the Bathing section is strictly textile, one can spend the entire day in the Sauna area with nothing more than a pair of flip-flops and a towel, especially if you spend it by the three outdoor saunas, which has a lovely heated pool and direct access to the Lake of Constance, for those of you who are brave enough to take the dip at about 5c, all of which are strictly textile free.

The specialised Saunas were a dream, especially the salt exfoliation and the Chinese Mint. As a chronic asthmatic, I can highly recommend the herbal infused session!

Best of all, we went there during winter, which is most definitely the Off Season, and the Village of Meersburg was completely dead, perhaps just a handful of tourists, with over 70% of the restaurants closed, which, honestly, was a blessing for me. I don't like large amounts of people at the best of times, so, we could literally go to any of the open restaurants, and find a table, or just order a glass of wine for one of the many safe's and sit on a bench and watch the sun set over the lake.

A perfect way to spend a wintery birthday weekend away.
