Camping or beach pee ?

Can't we just use common sense? If there is a facility, use it. If there is none, find an area where no one would likely step. There is no problem in using the ocean. The water along the California beaches, wherewe usually visit, are inhabitated with fish, dolphins, seals, otters and whales along with many species of shore birds. Most of the year the water is too cold to enter so I usually use the steep banks along the back of the beach. Women should follow suit but they are more embarrased about squating down to do their business. Several years ago my wife learned how to make this less obtrusive. She learned the art of urinating while standing. Now, from a distance, she is just standing there and not squatting down. She has used this technique several times when nature called and we were not in a nudist enviornment. She can do this while not removing her shorts or panties. Pants present a whole other problem. (There are several sites that will explain how to do this. Just Google them. It will probably take several practice tries in order to get it right, but it is well worth the effort.) Maybe this should be posted on the Lady's Page.

What I do if there are no facilities around at the beach is; I sit on the edge of a towel and dig a little hole about 4 or 5 inches deep directly in front of me. I put my knees up and pee in the hole and then cover it up. People walking by don't even know what you're doing, they think you just sitting there.

I will never build a sand castle again...

I can't believe anyone's taking this thread seriously. I mean really, do we have members here with a urinary fetish? Digging holes in the sand and peeing in them.......what must first timer's think when they read this tripe?

if the beach has facilities, use the facilities. It's common courtesy for other beach users.

However many unofficial beaches are used by nudists because their remote location means that few people go there. This means that they usually lack any toliet facilities. If you are caught short a few miles from the nearest facilites, going in the wild may be your only option, butit is only sensible to find a solution which will cause the minimal offense to other beach users, such as heading into the dunes, out of sight to do what needs to be done.

A disabled friend once wanted to join me on a trip to a nearby beach and it took her nearly two hours to walk there on crutches. Hurrying back to find some facilities when she needed to pee was simply not an option.

So I take it from the above statement, you don't bother to dig a hole. Shame on you, very naughty.
I just let it fly.....after checking wind direction.

didn't realize peeing in the ocean was so widely accepted. Not sure I want to do any more swimming in the ocean now lol
Damn the fish have been doing it for some time now, that and more. They also have a bad habit of using resivoires where most municpalities get thier drinking water.

If you think about it, we've all been drinking recycled cave man and dinosaur all of our short lives !!
( and the primordial soup prior to water wasn't all that appetizing, either )
