New Mexico or El Paso, TX

Hey there, my name is Ed, spring break is coming up & was planning to travel to New Mexico, particularly White Sands because Ive always wanted to visit, plan to leave March 9th & come back on the 13th, if anyone can accommodate who lives by or in Las Cruces or even El Paso because I dont mind a little bit of a travel distance plus I might do some hiking in the Franklin mountains on my trip. I would love to meetup, do you know someone who lives closer to white sands, roswell, artesia, las cruces anything in the vicinity of those places?
Santa Fe is a little far for me but I might be willing to go the extra mile
