I am very impressed and scared! In 34 years of life I had never seen anything like this. I am Brazilian and here in Brazil there are already about 300 cases of covid-19 and this week the 1st death occurred. Panic and fear are slowly taking hold of people. In my city there is still no case, but people are already crazy buying everything they can, emptying the markets, there is no more alcohol gel to buy ...
I hope all is well ... Take care, friends!
[Hopefully this is true because I drink atleast 6 bottles of water a day lol quote]It is reasonable to keep cautious. I saw advice when I went to give blood to drink a lot of water. Apparently, when the kidneys are filtering out more water from the blood more often, it makes it more likely that one will urinate out any virus before it can infect. I don't understand that but I am drinking more and as a 57 year old, I am peeing a lot.
We had the same problems in France but we say "fear does not avoid danger". For three days, this March 19, we are in confinement, more possible to go out except for work (when possible) ; food purchases; We can no longer even get out of a city by car alone to go and walk alone in the countryside. I wish England would resist that because the confinement prepares for a serious economic crisis. we naturists cannot take advantage of it. My house is in town with neighbors and I can't be naked everywhere except at the moment because hardly anyone passes outside! meager compensation!
The centre of viral infection in the UK is London (no surprises there), so what did many (wealthy) Londoners do this weekend? They bolted for their second homes in the Lake District, Wales, and Cornwall. The locals are really angry about them spreading the infection. The PM is making a statement tonight about further measures...
Thankyou all for your comments. Stay safe, and good luck!
I understand Londoners wanting to get out of London, I used to live there and needed a regular break away from it. But, I do not understand why they, and plenty of other people, disregard all the warnings in the UK about not travelling to help restrict the speed that coronavirus spreads. We're a few weeks behind some of our European neighbours with regard to the rate it spreads, many have ignored the lessons learned in those countries. It wasn't just this last weekend that places have seen large influxes of weekenders from all sorts of home towns and cities. The one before last saw many people arriving on crowded trains and in cars at various locations on the SE coast of England, you don't normally hear or see so many wheelie suitcases clunk-clicking rumbling along the streets usually this early in the year. We used to go away too, but there was no coronavirus around at the time for us to spread. The restrictions on movements announced tonight in the UK may be too late, but they might stop the damage getting any worse - might.
This seems to be more about PANIC FEAR DREAD than SPIRITUALITY which, regardless of religious persuasion, is meant to guide believers away from fear towards #PEACE of MIND as well as political and social.
The famously nude iconic David by Michelangelo Buonarroti honors the Jewish/Hebrew slayer of the Giant Goliath who was later anointed King from Jewish history who reportedly wrote (or authorized) many of the Psalms revered by Hebrews, Christians, Muslims alike and respected by millions of others.
