RE:Would you send/accept a friend request to someone from work?We draw a strict line between public and private life in our office. I don't FB much at all and block my employees even from that. Absolutely there are varying circumstances where commingling private and public life is doable and then there are some that it would not bode well.

RE:Would you send/accept a friend request to someone from work?When "someone from work" is in a power-differentiated role, then no. Not boss/employee, or teacher/student. Rockdad's right to block employees. My sister, the schoolteacher, won't FB at all, because her students want to friend her.
