Is the beach closed because of the coronavirus?

Curious. I have plans to be there in May, which I know is a few months off. Hope I can make the trip!

They closed all Miami-Dade county beaches this week. Originally it was just the city of Miami Beach beaches (South Beach) mostly because of the spring break crowds. Hopefully by May it should be open again, but who knows.
