Blocking other nudists
What is the point of blocking me or other nudists that are real if you don't know them? I am good as real like many others. I know I hide my face because of personal reasons but I am real. I don't like getting blocked. Get to know me and others that are real before blocking . I am sorry but that is just my personal opinion
Unfortunately, this has has become over-run by perverts, men with fantasies looking for jollies, exhibitionists, homosexuals trolling for hookups, you name the perversion. That's not a reflection on any particular person, just an overall view.
With that in mind, when someone with their face blocked out approaches you, if you are a TRUE nudist, your defenses are automatically set in motion.
Why not swap out your photo for one taken from behind in an artistic way (either clothed or not)? Or, maybe just don't put a photo at all? Or, perhaps it's time to just stand up to society (God's word says to be IN the world, but not part of it) and post a pic showing your face, even if you're fully clothed. Use a picture that you have posted online or on Facebook before so that there is no certain way to zero in on its source.
I looked at your profile before forming this response and posting. I see you and I are both Christians. I show a full photo in my profile that my wife took of me at a clothing optional beach. It's pretty fuzzy because she was moving when she took it with her iPhone, so you can't quite tell what I look like, but it's good enough for this website. Maybe try that if you absolutely insist on using a nude photo of yourself for your profile.
I have blocked a few. Normally "Women" that send me spam directing me to their sex site. I was quickly blocked by a certain user after I flagged some of her crotch-shot pictures (Interesting that she somehow knew is was me that flagged them) - I'm sure many of the regulars here know who I'm talking about. One time after a message back-and-forth with TT2 about one of her blatant images on the home page, she was "shocked" that such a photo existed - yeah right. I was also blocked by another user that I had had several benign conversations with, mostly about Valley View Hot Springs. Not sure why he saw fit to block me, but that's his choice.

I have looked around but can not find the answer, How do you know if someone has blocked you?
There is one guy who Mods some interesting looking groups that I think has blocked me, because when I try to join one of his groups it gets rejected. I have read some of his posts, and know he is a quick draw on the blocking button. So I know I was too slow to do things his way before he passed judgement.

If you go to his profile page, it will tell you if he has blocked you.
I would be very surprised to hear of anyone just randomly blocking people without interaction but even if they do - that's okay. It's the internet and you see all kinds of behaviours. I would, however, second John's suggestion to use a photo that does not have the face scribbled out. It just leaves me with a strange, uncomfortable feeling and I don't like chatting to torsos and crotches. Why not post yourself in profile? Or use a photo from behind or with your pet blocking your face ...all of those options give some inkling of the sort of person you are and have character. If you can't bring yourself to do that then you can always leave it blank. And there's nothing states you must have a nude photo. Most of mine are clothed and that has DRASTICALLY reduced the creepy messages and comments I used to receive that referred to my anatomy. I'm a nudist. I know I'm a nudist and posting a nude photo doesn't prove a thing to myself or others. If you want to post one, that's great, but you will seem more human if you can find a way to do it that doesn't involve scribbling out your face.
Peace,
Karen
I am aware of being blocked 3 times that I know of.
Once because I accidentally asked to join a group for which I did not meet the requirements for membership (at least 2 full frontal nudes).
Once because I don't have any pictures on my profile page.
Once for asking someone how often he is nude nos when he posted he was trying to be nude 24/7.
I don;t see how any of these warrant being blocked.
Two things come to mind:1. Is there another reason than the photo causing them to block you? I don't even have a photo up, and I don't think that anyone has ever blocked me. Is there a patternTo when you get blocked?2. No one is obligated to get to know you, just because you want to get to know them. If someone blocks you, they clearly didn't want to talk to you, so you aren't losing anything.
Another idea: Why bother coming here at all if the site if overrun with perverts and trouble makers? So many of the true nudists that I know have left the site and will not come back. They do not miss this site one bit!
A big problem here is that there are only a handful of people who actually say anything in the chat room. Whenever a conversation is started, someone always gets upset and runs to the block button. Others, who have never said one word in the chat room come out of nowhere and complain about the person who started the conversation. Is it any wonder that conversation has died in the chat room and that most of the discussions are now in PM mode?
This site so badly needs a good clean out to make it safe for true nudists. Until this happens, more true nudists will leave and eventually there will be nothing left but scammers and perverts. I have asked mods to get rid of certain scammers and abusers but nothing happens (they do not have the authority to do so) and so I have sent a PM to TT2 but never received a response. The man hating pervert that was banned within four hours of joining this site came back immediately under a new profile and remains to this day. What is the point of banning anyone when all they need to do is to come right back under a new profile? Games and more games!
Clean up the site by ending all discrimination ( no more No Single Guy crap allowed!), make an effort to get rid of the scammers and perverts, and the end result will be a better site. Or let the site continue as is and watch more and more true nudists leave because there is way too much abuse and too many problems here.

I don't use the chat room but find plenty of good nudist discussion in the forum and groups.
While I certainly see content that is too sexual in nature for a "true nudist", site it seems to me to be a small minority.
