visiting your local resorts
It will be interesting to see what the crowds will be like when the resort reopens. As a member of Shangri-La, I have been there several times in the last week and the number of residents and visitors seems to be down relative to a month prior. Some of this may be due to winter visitors heading back home, the fact that it was a holiday week for some, or attendance restrictions put in place due to COVID-19 concerns. Just the same, hope you are able to visit when things clear up.
Following OP's lead, I hope to get back out to De Anza Springs Resort and enjoy the trails when things clear up.
after this lockdown nonsense is over what is everyone's plans on visiting their local resorts?/quote]
It is for real, not nonsense. My friend and I had booked 9 nude holidays here in the UK and in mainland Europe. They are being cancelled or postponed one by one due to the pandemic. We'll see what is left when the problem is over.
For the next few months, my nudist "resort" will be my back yard (which fortunately faces south). It's not the virus which is keeping me out of the yard now, it's the damn weather. I live a long way from resorts, so visits become part of other travel. Later in the summer I'll probably visit Mountain Air Ranch in CO, maybe one of the desert resorts in California.
I have three resorts within an hour of me. I'm not on the mailing list for one, but I am for the other two. They are closed indefinitely as it stands now unless you are a member with property. But even then, they can't do anything social. Everything is closed.
I've been dating a woman for the past few months and I have yet to talk to her about my nudist lifestyle, but I have a good feeling that she will be willing to try it. I was waiting for the nice weather. I'm so disappointed as I'm afraid that we will have a very short season if any.
I'm hoping before the summer is over I can get back to 40 acres close to St Louis. That was my wife's first experience of social nudity. I'd be lying if I said she was in her comfort zone...lol....but she did love not wearing a swim suit in the pool :-)
She's still not a nudist I'd say but I think she'd go back again.
