I've only been there once, many years ago. But it's so much closer than Pohutukawa, I must do some visits there this summer.

Some do yes. Unfortunately there are some older st8 they are there every day walk around like they own the joint. They tend to take the piss out of people that like to wear cock rings and gay guys and gossip lots. Sometimes its not nice. You would be better off to go around the rocks to gentlemans bay. Not good swimming though.
