Hockey Withdrawals

Hello Hockey fans,

Is everyone having hockey or sports withdrawals due to the pandemic. Hopefully the NHL decides soon what they are going to do with this season that abruptly ended.

What do you think the NHL should do with the 2019-2020 season? Should they just move on to the next season and not have a Stanley Cup Champion? Have regular playoffs schedule in September (if things are better by then) for the 16 teams that would be in the playoffs when the season stopped? Continue the remaining games? Other ideas?

I think if they are allowed to resume hockey, they should have the 16 teams play each other but instead of a series, just one game. Winner advances to the next round. This way they can start the next season, maybe in November until end of April. Then playoffs again in May. That is if pandemic 2.0 does not return.

Look forward to reading your thoughts.
