Vanishing Messages

In the past week I have received a dozen or so email alerts letting me know that I have a message on TN. When I log onto TN it shows that there are no messages in my inbox. I have sent messages to some of the people on my friends list and they confirmed sending a message. Sometimes they have had to resend a few more times before the message posts. Has anyone else experienced this issue with vanishing messages?

Yes I have had this problem both in sending and receiving. One solution that we have found is there must be something in the subject box but that does not completely solve the problem. Its like a lot of other computer problems; we'll just have to live with it.

I think there is another thread on this same subject. If you type a message and mis-print the authentication code, it will alert the receiver but the message won't be sent to their in box and if the sender doesn't notice the security code message they will not know that it wasn't sent. On the same token, I swear I have typed it all correctly and got this "security text does not match" message, but I have learned to check it and re-type as necessary. The second time it usually goes through.

Mike what you said makes sense. Sometimes I have received as many as 4 emails in just a couple of minutes without actually getting a message. So it islikely that the sender is making mistakes with the security code. Thanks.
