Fellow Black nudists: How are you doing?
I wanted to make a post to see how my brothers and sisters are doing? This is a very tense time, and I'm excited for change and anxious about the growing pains in showing this country the unhealed scars of white supremacy and racism.
But this post isn't about that. I want to know how you all are taking care of yourselves, especially when group gatherings aren't happening. I'm staying involved in group chats with friends, playing video games, and catching up on The Last Dance. We also broke down and ordered a Peloton so we can get some exercise and stay in shape.
Self-care is important, and since our Black Lives Matter we have to take care of them. How are you all holding up?
It has been an interesting year indeed. I have been holding up fairly well, I graduated with my degree in graphic design Summa Cum Laude. Hopefully, 2021 will be better with a potential end to this pandemic so I can travel and meet my friends on True Nudists also I am hoping to move in with my partner in Hawaii and marry him.
It has been quite a year and some of the craziness is not over yet. It is good that the general public is more alert to the everyday systemic things that bias can do, and there is a time to keep this in the forefront so something is done to address the issue.
Luckily, I am still employed and doing well except going a bit stir crazy with the lockdown here in CA. The nudist events I have attended in past years were cancelled, of course, so that is tough to replicate online, but there are a few communities, this one included, that have been nice to join in the discussions...
