Are Any Members Traveling This Summer?
The pandemic has had an impact on people getting out of the house. I travel to job sites in the southeastern US and have been using the motorhome for work. No worries about hotels or restaurants. Carol has been able to accompany me several times and it has been a pleasure. I have not found any AANR campgrounds close enough to work, but I will keep looking.

Last year we took a 10-week road trip, but this year will be more like 3 weeks -- but mostly due to factors unrelated to Covid. Seems to us that RVing is the safest way to travel. ..... Derek & Sharon

In mid-September we're renting a motorhome and hitting the road! We'll start in Sedona AZ, visiting a C/O B&B, then up to the Grand Canyon for a couple of days, and on to Yellowstone after that. After a few days at Yellowstone we're headed over to Bend, OR to check out another C/O B&B and then down to Laguna Del Sol for a few days before heading home. Can't wait!

We're beginning to travel a little and using our motorhome as lodging. Still not ready to stay in hotels. Even with stays at nude clubs and resorts, we're also being cautious.

As I noted in the original post, we have been using the motorhome as a place to stay for work. The RV was relatively new to us and I had it serviced at an RV specialist and a follow up at the truck manufacturer that made the engine and chassis. Three and a half weeks later we have our machine back because no one can order parts without a part number. I finally had enough and found what was needed for a repair and picked it up myself. Whew. Back to work, two months on the road in my immediate future.

What was the problem and was it an easy fix?
