Just got myself some gear and looking to backpack in the above areas. Can anyone share some trails and National Forests with dispersed campgrounds they've been to?
Are you, like myself, more into the wilderness than a resort? For now Im looking for a bud or two to hit the trails with. Please share your resources. There are so many beautiful parks to explore. Thanks everybody!
Daniel Boone National Forest in Ky. Lots of good secluded trails on the Red Rivet Gorge area of the forest.
Haven't hiked there since the 80s, but all my hikes were naturist hikes, and stayed nude in camp. Most of the campsites are near water, so there's skinny dipping too
