RE:Hang out with my speedo

I was sitting nude on our patio with my wife when she heard a neighbour at the gate. She said you better put something on, so I put on a brief speedo that I had and enjoyed chatting with the neighbour in just that. The neighbour said she is often in the garden in her underwear so she was not bothered, she's been back too so the speedo's made a comeback too.

It seems rather unfair that you should have to scurry to get clothed when it is someone who is coming over to your home. Nevertheless, it is nice to read that your neighbor was comfortable with your wearing a speedo. Earlier this week I had to travel for business to Vancouver, WA [about the same distance from Seattle in the opposite direction as Vancouver, B.C.-CN]. Due to covid-19 restrictions, the hotel only allows one guest/their group to use the pool/hot tub on a reservation basis with a max. 1-hour duration. The guest must wait to be allowed in the pool area, as the room key-cards are disabled to enter the pool/hot tub room/area. Since I could not use the pool/hot-tub nude, I did the next best thing that would not get me in trouble and sported my speedo. Even better, I walked all the way from my room on the 4th floor down to the pool room/hot tub on the 1st floor carrying my towel with me. Anyone in the hallway would have gotten to see me in my speedo. The woman who allowed me into the pool hot tub room was totally fine with my speedo, but the woman who was 'sanitizing' the pool room seemed a bit uncomfortable. I didn't care. Once she left and the jets were running in the hot tub, I quickly took off my speedo and enjoyed my session nude.

It still seems a difference between Australia and the US. Even if boardies are way more popular here, I cannot think of anywhere I cannot use a brief style suit for a swim with zero concerns whereas it seems the same cannot be said for all of the US. Mind you, on our last trip to the US, when we did stay at a place with a pool, I went with a brief with, IIRC, sides of less than an inch in regional California, near the Big Trees, and Orlando. I passed on having a swim at our LA hotel and at Legoland in Florida. Legoland in particular felt as though it may push the cultural boundaries, although the females had no such restrictions. Probably would have gone ahead if I really wanted to get wet, but chose to sit in the shade instead while my kids splashed. I waited to get back to our Orlando accomodation and swim there.
