The weather is getting good again for hiking. Does anyone know if Sycamore Creek off the 87 is open. There was a fire near there that closed the forest. I'm not sure if it has been opened again. Any info from anyone?

Good question. Did you ever get out there and find out if the gate is open. I drove by fire and gone all around. But the future flooding is going to be bad for this spring

I heard it is closed until middle of March 2021.

Actually, Forest Service is stating unless we get a significant monsoon in 2021 it will remain closed indefinitely until the dry conditions improve.

It's open now. We were there a couple weeks ago. Water was flowing slowly. Beautiful!
