Plans changed on the fly

A year or so ago I reconnected with a former coworker and he and I shared a meal that I had prepared then I suggested a hot tub soak. He at first said that he did not bring a suit and part way through his statement he changed it to " you soak nude right?" and stripped down. After we got out I stayed nude and he redressed. We had kept in contact off and on since then , but had not met up. Until last night. I had invited him to another meal and soak and he jumped at the chance. I debated whether to just greet him nude but decided to wear my sarong to start with. I was sitting on the porch on a very nice summer evening when he pulled in and in a total surprise to me a female who I did not know got out from the passenger side. I decided to add a t-shirt and greeted them both . She introduced herself and I immediately took a liking to her. Fun and vivacious. I scrambled to add a third place setting and put the finishing touches on the meal and we had a great visit. She mentioned that Ray had said we might soak and then went to the car to get her suit. As she went into the bathroom to change I asked her if it was okay I i soaked nude . She assured me that was fine. I stripped off and got in the hot tub. She came out in her suit. Ray stripped off totally and got in. She decided to take her top off within minutes of getting in. She kept her swimsuit bottoms on but was totally fine sitting there topless with her boyfriend and a guy who was old enough to be her father ( me) both us nude. I sort of wrapped in a towel which kept coming open while we visited post soak.

I'm happy to hear that the evening went well. However, I think it was extremely rude of your friend to bring a guest to dinner without informing you beforehand. I would explain to your friend that more friends are always welcomed but the courtesy of a heads-up notice would have been greatly appreciated.

I actually totally agree with you. I am still pondering whether to say something or not. It might be a cultural thing for him. He did grow up here in the USA. Heck of a nice guy. No real.harm was done. I think I will let it slide. But just expect the unexpected when making any plans with him

Surely a dinner guest should say if they are bringing someone with them - if only to ensure there enough food. Not so important with a hot tub, though the unavoidable body contact means you have to get friendly as more people get in.
