Do you advocate for naked sun bathing for skin health purpose?

I was wondering... can this be an advocacy agenda in health and well-being sector?
Even in metro cities, the roof top of any high riser can be used for this purpose... and I feel there will be a good acceptance from common people.

In the United States, we're culturally so paranoid about skin cancer that vitamin D deficiency is very common. Which may be why there is a tanning salon industry. I would rather get real sunlight than artificial, but is there any demonstrated medical difference?

I read an article from a group of drs and scientists that stated most people who lives above or below the 35 degree horizontal line in the northern and southern hemispheres on the globe are vitamin D deficient. The sun never gets to a high enough angle for them to get the rays that generate vitamin d. Thats another reason for the tanning industry even though the rays this industry produce are sometimes bad for you.

I recently found an app for my cell called Dminder. It actually works with your input about you to tell you exactly how long you need to be out in the sun to get your recommended amount of vitamin d daily. You input your height, weight, location, amount of clouds, amount of skin exposure(mine is always at 100%), and other info related to you specifically. The app is free and works great! It even tells you when you should turn over, if youre lying down.
Im sure there are other apps that do the same, I just found this one and its free. I must say, it also provides time to get a great tan without burning your skin, nice even tan all over. So far so good! And yes, I do advocate for skin health, if it wasnt obvious...lol
