New here shy
Welcome. I'm relatively new here too. I understand your shyness. The first time I went to a nude beach it took me quite a while before I removed my suit. I eventually realized no one cared that I was nude. Very freeing experience once you get over the shyness.
Nudism doesn't really have any "rules". It's about personal comfort, the feeling of freedom and the ability to relax and enjoy life as you would except without your clothing on. The biggest thing is probably mutual respect. You see someone else naked, they see you naked, you trust them not to ogle you, stare, make unnecessary remarks or otherwise sexualize you in some way, and in return they expect the same from you.
It's okay to "look" --- unless you're blind, that's going to happen --- but the idea is to try to keep the vibe as normal and social as possible.
