Smoking in public places

In Scotland it is illegal to smoke anywhere in a public place (shops, offices, pubs, cafes, restaurants, colleges, public transport etc). What impact does the law have on smoking where you live, if any?

Well Germany has some commonsense at least here in Saskatchewan Canada it is illegal to smoke inside .it has virtually killed the bar business drop of 70%.the whole crowd goes out for a smoke.And it make me wonder where all these non smokers are. I think to cheap to buy cigs to cheap to by a beer.
