I agree, its only fair to at least give space in case the other guy or guys want to look at me too. Im on small/ grower side but comfortable with self and mature to use urinals or even piss outside with another guy needing to go. Were guys with same equipment and all guys look to see what other look like at some point of their lives anyway. Im not being an obvious showoff at the urinals but do leave room in case the other guys want to look too since I may look/ peek too. Its all in fairness in my opinion and if the others dont look then its their decision and vice versa... In essence, yes I follow the "show me yours and Ill show you mine" rule :)
I don't think a public toilet is an appropriate place to engage in exhibitionism or disrespectful behaviour, but the ones who turn towards the corner are ridiculous. First off, no one is going to see your dick anyway. You can cover yourself up enough to prevent that. Secondly, if you're still that afraid of someone seeing your dick go in the cubicle to pee. It comes off to me as a passive aggressive "none of you f-----s" are gonna see my junk!" thing.
very nice manners, i enjoy urinating hands free in front of a urinal, just like i do when outside, its a freedom not having to aim. i find there's no reason to not look, we are all different as males, and also have so much in common, urinating with our penises something we all share, have in common
