Light Transport for RV's

we are still looking at purchasing a RV for our outback trips. We do not like the idea of pulling a car behind as this defeats the idea of off roading. But will still need some transport w/o having to drive the RV. Has anyone used a electric dirt bike to get around? Lightweight and street legal?

I commute on an ebike, and have taken ours camping. it would be okay for what you are proposing. most ebikes are limited to 20-25mph. Also the range at that speed is 40-60 miles. so you could go to a store about 30 miles away max. and you would be on the bike 2 hours. I have been kicking around the idea of a small motorcycle for camping. Honda has a line of bikes that would work well. The Honda Monkey, Honda Trail, Honda Cub, or Honda Grome.

I just realized you said electric dirt bike, sorry big difference. they do suffer from range issue vs. a similar weight gas bike. to get a decent range they are heavy. The Suron might be a good fit for what you are asking. still has a short range, but its fairly light for an electric motorcycle.
