Disappointing year
2020 has been so disappointing thanks to the dreaded pandemic and the controls aimed at stopping it spreading. At the start of the year my friend and I booked our usual 10 nude holidays, including 6 in the sunshine of southern Europe. In the end we only got to take one of them - in the south of France at the end of July. The rest have all been cancelled. Hopefully 2021 will be better with the vaccine available.
I am very thankful that I got my big vacation in before the whole world went surreal. It was shortened up by a week partially thanks to covid.
I did have to change plans for my 60th birthday celebration ended up with plan E, white water rafting and Flight 93 memorial road trip , rather than Turkmenistan and the Gates to Hell. Now pondering how to get away from Midwest USA winter starting next month.
I took my main vacation for the year in February and early March, and got back just before things shut down.
Had another one planned for October that was reschedule to February 2021 and has since been reschedule to November.
Hopefully it will happen this time.
In terms of quantity: yes social distancing prevented us from doing several trips this summer, including a European trip which was going to include stops at some of the most famous French nudist resorts.
In terms of quality: my wife realized that she actually missed nudism, so decided to maximize the limited opportunities we had. So we two trips were were able to take at local venues were very active; and we used the opportunity of low attendance to do every activity available to us. Which led to a sort of "awakening" for my wife; as she realized that she really enjoyed naked physical activity; particularly on the lake. Now she can't wait for the summer to spend days naked hanging out by the lake.
So it's been a mixed bag. Disappointing in terms of how little we were able to practice social nudity; pretty awesome in terms of seeing my wife fully embracing being active naked.
