Does ride matter?
So here is a question, for those of you who enjoy the open road. Does your enjoyment of the ride influence what car you drive? I have ridden nude in every car I own since the 90s. Starting with a lifted Bronco II. Most my vehicle set up being trucks and Jeeps and this was intentional as it gave me more freedom in traffic. But I also had two Smart Fortwos, which at first drew a lot of attention, but for a small car its doors were higher than most sedans, so I could get away with driving as long as I avoided pulling up next to a truck. Sadly, my last Smart was totaled by a drunk driver while it was parked. Been thinking about buying another small car as the gas prices climb, but with Smarts off the market I find myself looking at cars not only considering style, mileage and brand, but how friendly it would be to driving san clothes. Am I the only one who considers this? I know some of us think about privacy when looking for a home just curious if that carries over to your second most lived in purchase.
I am still looking. SUV and trucks are great for there height, but can be a pain in city driving. There was a few cars with the narrow windows and bigger doors although it makes me feel like I sitting in a tub. So I still looking for something I like.
I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of cash to drive a truck when I'm naked. Unfortunately, mine has succumbed to the Ohio rust disease. I'm driving my Impala with a sunroof right now and I can't wait until its warm enough to just drive around.
I usually drive a convertible so I don't drive nude.
I would rather have the top off and my shorts on than the other way around, and am not daring enough to drive nude with the top down.
Our other vehicle is a minivan with tinted side windows, so that would be ideal for driving nude, but my wife is usually with me and doesn't want me too, even though she is fine with me being nude in our house and enclosed back yard.
On several occasions, she has asked me to turn down the air conditioning and I reply that I would, but then I would take my shorts off. She decided that she would rather be chilly..
One thing about a old rusty truck is it doesn't draw a lot of attention, unless it is an really old truck. I guess thats the same for deck out truck too, might end up having a conversation with another enthusiasts while sitting in traffic.

Convertibles can be challenging, definitely don't want to get caught in city traffic. But if you really want to experience it, I would recommend country roads and kilt. I tried towels and shorts but a kilt can be pull over and snap quickly and the utility ones look like shorts at a passerby's glance. Or just borrow the minivan for a "store run"

Living in Central NJ, there aren't many, if an back country roads nearby.
Ive driven nude in a couple of cars. Never took nudity into consideration when looking for a vehicle. I just keep something available to pull into my lap as required.
Rode with a couple of friends in a tall pickup. They remained clothed; I got nude. Didnt think about it at the time, but there was no concern that someone might see that I was nude.
The friends were also nudists.
Hello and thanks for the topic. I have driven in the nude in all the cars I have ever owned. I buy the cars for two reasons. Practicality and reliability. To get me from point A to point B in comfort and is reliable. Sometimes the car is new, mostly it's second hand, but in good order. I live rurally, an hour from work so I need something that's going to get me there and back. Also, when I go to nudist resorts for a week away to pack everything I need. Because I do live rurally, and on back roads, once out of the city limits I strip and drive nude. Usually for the whole 100 kms run. This is both in summer and winter. I never have thought about buying a car for the the sans clothing aspect.I also ride a motorcycle, not nude though. However, when I go on long trips in the summer, I always find a place to take a break and that is usually off the main route for a naked break. I take at least 30 minutes to relax naked. been doing this for a very long time too.
Did you ever find that one car seemed better for nude driving being how it sat or how the windows or seats were configured? I have done two motorcycle dashes. The longest was about 2 miles. Not as easy to do a quick cover up so you got to plan the route and act like you own it if you are seem
Does anyone think the way the car/truck is perceived as being normal to be shirtless in would make a difference? Work trucks, Jeeps and some convertibles you don't think twice about seeing someone topless, but a luxury car or fancy sport car the person might look more out of place and thus draw more attention.
