Continuing the tradition

Just in from mowing my backyard . The largest portion about an hours worth of mowing is partially in view of the road. So I have my barely there shorts on and a shirt with long tails. Once mostly out of view of the road I took off the shorts. Then when i got to portion of the yard totally out of view of the road I even lost the shirt. That 25 min of mowing has been done nude now for 6 seasons. Today started the 7th! I thought i might get caught today. A friend mentioned he might be stopping by to reclaim his quad bike he has stored in my garage. He knows my nude habits and would not have freaked out just laughed. But he did not show up while i was mowing. Oh well I will be bare when he does get here.

I am considering making a pair of barely there shorts for working in the front yard.
Then I would be legally covered but in no way constrained.
Start a tradition of my own.

just a few snips on a pair of old shorts and you have a pair go for it. you are right no constraint

Do you try to square off the bottom or just leave it uneven where you open the crotch seam?
I have tried it a few times for indoor use, but either wind up with a ragged bottom edge or try too hard to get it even and wind up with something too short to keep things covered.

whatever you are comfy with. honestly with the fabric having no seams once cut they quickly become a piece of elastic waist band with flaps of easy to tear fabric hanging front and back

How small do you let the panels get from unraveling and tearing before you get rid of them?

have one pair that is literally holding on by threads.

Ever had an incident when the elastic broke an it fell off or one of the panels separated from the waistband when you were wearing it?

the elastic on one pair i have is about done worn out, not breaking just losing it's stretch. It tends to ride low on my hips.
Closest thing to an incident would be the wind lifting the flap as a car drives by. But so far no one has slammed on their brakes and yelled at me.
