Young nudists: how many do u think are out there?
Young people your age are redefining nudism and likely will call it something else.
Even if admission were free at resorts, they still tend to be a long drive and are discriminatory to single males. You know how in Saudi Arabia women used to need a male driver? A lot of resorts are like that but the other way around by requiring men to have a female escort.
Many resorts will likely die with their members. Since they're privately owned, there's not much we can do in general.
How can we on this site better support you and your generation?
Similar to the way the younger generation are creating their own social and recreational opportunities, they will likewise create their own community and engagement platforms.
Hopefully existing platforms will show more interest in better supporting new generations, though it seems cleaner and simpler in general to make a new one than to try to change the culture or technology of the old one.
For example, a recent thread on reddit discussed some of AANR's shortcomings, and the two points that seemed to emerge were that their system is poor, and that anyone wanting it improved should volunteer to fix it for them for free. Given the younger generation has so many options with emerging technologies, I have doubts that any will want to inherit AANR's mess. They will make a new system.
Someone please help AANR with their digital communications - Reddit

Based on ongoing research begun three years ago, we estimate that more than half, and as much as three quarters of Canadians have or will engage in some form of clothing-optional social activity. This could be anything from skinny dipping and hot-tubbing, to spontaneous flashing, to sustained events, to more traditional resorts and beaches.
The Roper Poll in 2006 produced numbers that suggest 25% of American respondents had skinny-dipped, and 74% indicated support for nude sunbathing on designated beaches. Social nudity is more common than many believe. This is likely due to the fact most people don't sell tickets or broadcast their social events. It is mostly the monetized events that draw attention.
NEF-Roper Poll
My group advises people seeking clothing-optional social activities to have or form their own social circle within which they can introduce social nudity rather than joining open-door social groups in the hopes of deriving a social circle from their memberships. This likely flies in the face of what most nudist groups promote, so if you want to seek friends by joining a resort, go for it. Everyone's mileage varies.

This goes along with my thinking of how younger generations are recreating a clothing optional lifestyle in their own under the radar image. And God bless them for that. As far as helping AANR with digital communication, AANR should first look at themselves in the mirror and decide what values they want to promote and take a stand against discrimination in their own ranks and resorts. It's not an organization I can support, nor do I imagine many younger people with a stronger social conscious than me would want to engage with.
