I think that being a certified member is a further guarantee for everyone due to the large number of fake profiles that, unfortunately, are present on the site. I fear it is a problem that is not easy to solve for those who administer the site. The members are numerous and not always anyone can be controlled. Perhaps greater rigor in the registration phase such as making the publication of the two photos mandatory (with and without clothes) can avoid or at least greatly reduce the problem. Maybe there will be fewer members, but at least more real people ..
Yes, it would be great if the owners of the site cared about making it better. In all my years on this site what I have seen is mostly the people that become mods run the chat room like a prison not letting people talk about much of anything.
Maybe they are told to keep it from being a place to actually chat I can only guess from what I see every day.
There are always so many fake female profiles that come into the chat room but nothing is ever done about it.
This site needs a major purge of the fake profiles but that will never happen.
I can't prove it but I would not be surprised this site and others like it generate income from these outside sources to keep things going. I think TN gets "kick backs" from the porn sites that are featured in the fake profiles. Don't know for sure, but that's just my opinion. As a former moderator myself who has worked with other websites. It's not rocket science catching them before they embed themselves. Doesn't take long to notice them just from the types of pictures they post.I would gladly volunteer my time to help eliminate fake profiles but I don't think the owners want to clean up the site.
One reason TN dont do more about the fake profiles is that they bolster the headline number of site members. If membership number reflected genuine naturists in the site it would be far less impressive. What frustrates me is the number of fakes that have profile pictures which break the rules. One the other day featured erect male genitalia front and centre of the screen and no face showing. It is still there days later. If I posted something like that it would be taken down pretty quickly. Adds to the collusion theories.
What it really needs is a privacy setting so that non certified members cant view your profile or message you. Certification isnt that hard to spoof, but stopped non certified members viewing and messaging you would be a start. I would also prevent non certified members viewing cams in chat room. In fact I would go further, you should only be able to view cams if you are broadcasting yours.
The pas two years I've begun to notice the lines between Truenudists and Trueswingers are blurring. I'm seeing a lot of stuff on TN that really belongs on TS.
