RE:Overly restrictive rules for groups - thoughts?

Wish I could. Hope this site connects you with a lot of real Nudists. I havent had much luck & may be jumping ship to flickr soon where theres much more FRIENDLY real NUDIST ( the closeted-nudist trolls are the least of the problems & not as annoying as some of the dimwits on this site ) engagement & much less inexplicable cowardly illogical censorship & manipulation of users content by management; users are fully in charge of their account on flickr unlike tn.

All of the above &AND& the new SECURITY for 18+ which is irrelevant because we ALL already were required to upload FACE shots & LEGALLY attest to our ages to get an account in the FIRST place &AND& with varying AGE OF MATURITY laws in the US & internationally, 18+ is a ridiculous bar for security or engagement; the age of consent/maturity in WASHINGTON DC/USA CAPITOL CITY is .... wait for it... 16 ... TWO (2) YEARS younger than what this site permits; in Spain, the age of maturity is ... 14 .... & that is based on RELIGIOUS grounds because THE VIRGIN MARY, MOTHER OF GOD/Christ, was widely accepted to be be 14 when she gave birth to GOD. ... AMAZING how RELIGIOUS STANDARDS are more liberal than the corporate standards of the cowardly anonymous censors & money makers who claim they're tryin to PROTECT US(?) by making this site less useful. ... I feel this site along with others I'm a member of has changed over the years. Okay, yes, there will be changes but not always for the better.
I've found here that there are many American women using it for a dating site and nothing about nudism at all. I think it should be stipulated as it's a nudust site you have naked pictures of yourself on here. After all, if you are a true nudist you've nothing to hide if you get my drift.
Be interesting to hear what others here think.
Happy naked feastive season coming up and a better 2022 (fingers crossed).

Why waste any time with dysfunctional groups or people? Perhaps this site has more of its share of human oddities. Nudism certainly isn't about being conventional. However, it draws some amazing and authentic people who have made it worthwhile for me. The rest is just background noise. Ignore or block the strange birds, just don't try figuring them out.

I'm with you there, Andy.

I can see reasons why people don't want to post nude pictures of themselves on the site, and don't feel that it should be a requirement except for authenticating a certification process for the mods. If we lived in a culture where there are no repercussions at all for having nude pictures on the internet, then I might feel differently. But if a teacher loses his or her job, or a Scoutmaster finds himself barred from the Scouts, or a minister has to face her congregation and explain why there are pictures of her on some porn site she'd never heard of, then it's just not worth it for them.

If we made it a requirement that people post nude pictures of themselves here, we'd lose those people. And I'd hate to do that.

Given that this site software comes from 2006, the mods have no consistent standards in publishing downloaded pix, spam/fake accounts are considered member volume bragging rights and that I've been blackmailed that my TN posts will be downloaded to my Facebook account, my trust in posting pix online is very low. In any case I consider a naked mind more important than being a shower or a grower.

As far as the groups, that's where the most insightful discussions happen, which I haven't seen in the chat room. I see group postings decreasing, so I'm surprised anyone would restrict them.

There is a huge shortage of 'naked minds' on this site. It would be wonderful if we could have somewhat intelligent conversations in the chat room. Anything beyond the usual 'naked hugs, cyber kisses, and how is the weather.' Unfortunately no matter what a person posts in the chat room, someone will always object and complain and so real chat is long dead in the chat room. Why some of the mods will even ban anyone who dares to start and intelligent conversation about anything and so many have just plain given up on the chat room.

The forum is a different matter but the number of active posters in the forum has also decreased. At this rate, there really will not be much of a TN site left.

So many here also join one group after another and then never say one word or contribute anything to those groups. What really is the point of doing this?

I've also run into Miev by virtue of replying to the posts of others that have appeared in my timeline without regard as to where they were located. The TN software has allowed me to do that on the past. The result is usually a 'Get off my lawn!' response by Miev. By then I've forgotten where it was that I posted!

I've tried to be as open as possible on this site with the exception of full photos. I hope my profile reflects that. If full frontal is the bar I face, I guess I'll just have to accept that.

Others can, of course, choose to patronise the groups that have more open policies and join me there! Very few topics here are covered by just one group.
