Wish people would read a profile before sending requests

I'm a nudist, not sure if I'm a 'True nudist' as I'm not sure what that entails. However, I have my pics set so anyone can see them. I have asked on my profile that I don't which to add anyone as a fiend until I have seen their photos and read their profile. I don't want to add you as a friend until I've seen you photo not the other way round. And as it is a nudist site it would, in my oppinion, be better to have at least one nude photo.
OK rant over!

Profiles

I agree, I always would hope that a person would have a photo of their face & some details written in on their profile!!
Atleast i can gauge the kind of person I am accepting

Getting "certified" as a "True Nudist" here does give one a bit more access if I remember right--although I don't remember specifics. Also, it's less likely that people will view one with suspicion if you're certified--for example, that one has fished around on the Internet for naked pictures to post (not to suggest for a minute that you are doing anything like that--just stating how it all works).
To get certified as a True Nudist (these things can be difficult to find here), you need to get two photos of yourself. In both, you are holding a paper with your User Name and the words True Nudists. In one photo, you're dressed; in the other, you're naked. I believe they have to show your face.
There's a place to send the two photos to get certified, AND TRUE NUDISTS DOESN'T POST THEM (although, you may certainly post them yourself to your photo albums; many people do, and the ONLY dressed photo I have in my 70+ photos is the dressed one of my pair for getting certified).
I guess the idea is, it's difficult to come up with a pair of photos like that, without stripping naked yourself and taking them. You're not going to find them on the Internet, and they're probably difficult to Photoshop convincingly. So they're likely to actually be you.

RE: Profiles

yeah, exactly Kram. And it would be nice to get a clue as to what they have in common with you that would make a basis for a friendship to start. Drop a comment or something.
I know right? Who wants to be friends with someone they know nothing about? I've had a lot of friend requests like that and I don't acceot them. And to me, being certified makes a difference as well.

Definitely. I do read profiles fully before accepting friendships online except if I'm previously connected in some way to the individual

RE: Profiles

We know what you mean. on our profile we say noone over 45 for us and majority we getting requesting are older. No offense to them but would rather have people around our age as to have some things in common.

RE: Profiles

Harry posted good information. I wanted to add that the site benifits of being certified is forum section that only certified users can see and some people set pics to viewable to certified only.

RE: Profiles

Totally agree. I've turned down a few requests from either blank profiles or nearly empty ones. Fill out the details folks and post pics, it's not hard!

Looking at the groups the OP belongs to, I don't see where there's ANY room to complain.
I did not know TN permitted these groups?

Dee, I agree with you over the issue of private profiles. How can you really be a friend with someone who you know little about? Since you appear to be a newbie with only 4 posts, there are some items that I would like to discuss with you. In viewing your photos, we can neverget a clear picture of your face. You seem attractive enough so why not show your face. When joining this site, it is more important that a person be Certified than in posting a nude picture of themselves. By signing up here we are all saying that we are nudists. Do you need a nude photo to believe what it says on the profile is true? Lastly, I believe that the defination of a True Nudist is someone who embraces the the nude life style and the wants to promote and encourage others to enjoy all of the benefits that it has to offer.
