True Nudists get together at gunnison beach
I hate the traffic, so I usually go during the week.
Although I do not know from first hand experience yet abiout the traffic for this season I will say that it should be better. They completed a new bridge from Highlands to Seabright. No longer will the bridge need to be opened for boat traffic to pass through because they built the bridge high enough that boats will now be able to pass under it. Their is aldo a dedicated lane for Sandy Hook traffic and that would be the right hand lane of the bridge. Time will tell if their will be the ueusal traffic backups. Also if you wanted to get into Sandy Hook for free it is now possible by bicycle as the bridge also has a bike lane. All a person would have to do is park their car in Sea Bright or Highlands then ride their bike into Sandy Hook.
I remember there were times that the traffic would be at a stand still and people would drive on the shoulder to get by. A few times I seen people do this only to be pulled over and receive a sumons from a police officer closer to Sandy Hook. If the traffic was bad and I was stuck in the traffic I would be half in the slow lane and half on the shoulder at times. People behind would drive on the sholulder until they could not pass because I was taking up half the lane. They would blow their horns trying to get me to move out of their way but I figured if I had to be stuck in traffic so did they. Their was one time I did this and it prevented people from getting a ticket so all these people would be behind me getting mad I was not going to let them illegally pass and then were probably relived when they saw the police giving out tickets for passing on the right because it saved them from getting one.
