LA Dodgers a ward of the baseball state

I see MLB has taken over the operations of the LA dodgers. Bud Selig has appointed a trustee to run the team, as the current owner, Frank McCourt, has shown himself incapable of doing that. McCourt certainly has made a mess of things, and with one of baseball's storied franchises. You have to feel sorry for Don Mattingly who has to deal with this mess now (looks like Joe Torre got out just in time). Even though I am not a Dodger's fan, I hate to see this happen to them (or any team).
