Whiskey Top 5
Currently my Top 5 whiskeys are the following in no particular order:
Canadian Mist. I love it either straight or mixed with Vernors Ginger Ale. Also good with Dr. Pepper.
Jack Daniels Tennessee Honey. Now this one is my favorite! The honey flavoring will knock your socks off if they're not off already! LOL
Knob Creek 9. This has a taste you need to get used to to fully appreciate it. This one you savor. Not sip!
Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky. Very smooth and clean taste. Very good for late evening sipping as you unwind for bed.
Jack Daniels No. 7. Just good stuff!
What's your Top 5?
Great list and great topic!
With no distinction between whiskey and bourbon and excluding scotch, here are mine (in not particular oder):
Neat with one cube:
Bookers, Bakers and Basil Hayden (the big B's) plus Marker's Mark Private Select
Great for mixing:
Four Roses

My top 5 for whiskey/bourbon - in no particular order (sort of)
Rabbit Hole Dareringer - Bourbon that is finished in a sherry cask - 2 fingers and an ice ball- the ice ball doesn't water it down.
(any of the other Rabbit Holes fall in my favorites of Bourbons, short of the Founders Collection, those go straight to the top list)
Eagle Rare, Makers Mark 101, Woodford Reserve.
Irish and Scotch and Rye fall into a category all there own
Great question! Here is the response from the slow and fallible moderator.

2. Laphroaig Cairdeas single malt scotch
3. Knob Creek Barrel Proof (a recent bottle at 120.2 proof)

5. Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 12-year single malt scotch
