There appears to be a great deal of confusion here about a few important issues and these issues really should be clarified:
1) Getting Certified alone has nothing to do with Mastercard. Mastercard is a credit/debit card used to make purchases such as a paid membership to this site. In order to cut down on merchant purchase fraud, new rules have been enacted and summarized as follows:
1a) Why wouldnt I want to show ID to prove Im the person named on the credit card?
As much as merchants dont want to be a victim of credit card fraud, you dont want to be a victim of identity theft. Showing your ID gives the cashier access to your name, address, drivers license number, and sometimes, depending on what state you live in, your social security number. If they have access to just your credit card number, credit card identification number (thats that little 3- or 4-digit number on the front or back of your credit card), name and ZIP code (that last one is provided from your ID), those things alone are enough for them to use your credit card without your knowledge. Their having more info puts you at risk for other kinds of identity theft.
1b) Can they ask me for I.D.?
In general, a merchant can ask you for ID, but as long as your credit card is signed (thats important make sure you sign your credit cards!), they usually cant require it. But there are exceptions..
1c) MasterCard
There are certain situations when you use your Mastercard during which a merchant may require personal information. For example, for shipping purposes. Additionally, if the Mastercard is unsigned, a merchant should request personal identification (but not record it) and ask the cardholder to sign the card before completing the transaction.
If you believe that a merchant has violated the above standard or their actions requesting identification are questionable, you may report it by completing a brief online form.
1d) Visa
In general, a merchant is permitted to ask for identification but cannot require it as a condition of Visa card acceptance. However, there are exceptions, for example, if Visa has granted the merchant permission to require identification under certain circumstances for fraud control.
1d) What if they insist on me showing an I.D.?
Again, its complicated. If youre buying alcohol or cigarettes, for example, theyre allowed to require ID (its oftentimes state law). But if youre buying other types of items, sometimes cashiers dont know the rules. If you escalate it, theres no saying if a store manager is going to take your side or the cashiers (but I would bet [s]hell side with the cashier).
MasterCard has the online form so you can report it. Visa has a phone number on the back of their cards where you can call in violations. Whether or not you want to pursue those complaints or just take your chances by showing your ID is up to you.
If a person is not purchasing anything, then the question is how can Mastercard or any credit/debit card dictate the operation of a merchant for non purchase related issues? What does getting Certified or broadcasting on webcam in the chat room (which are non purchase related issues) have to do with a credit card company and ultimately a merchant that is interested in cutting down on credit card fraud????
Mastercard has not been and has no business in policing the internet. Mastercard's personal identity requirements have absolutely nothing to do with their primary duties which are processing payment transactions. Mastercard has set themselves up for class action lawsuits which will overturn their abusive overreach. Until that point is reached, no one should give in to Mastercard's outrageous demands.
For information purposes, this is Mastercard's policy:
Protecting our network, protecting you: Preventing illegal adult content on our network
April 14, 2021 | By John Verdeschi
Every day, our teams use a combination of technology and best practices to monitor and protect our network and all who interact with it.
Long ago, we established the rules and standards that govern the use of our payments network. Chief among these is that we do not and will not permit merchants to engage in unlawful activity on our network.
For all the investments we have made, theres still more work to be done.
Thats why today were taking an even more active stance against the potential for unauthorized and illegal adult content. This starts by ensuring there are strong content control measures on sites where our products are accepted.
Enhancing requirements for adult content, preventing anonymous content
This month, we are extending our existing Specialty Merchant Registration requirements. The banks that connect merchants to our network will need to certify that the seller of adult content has effective controls in place to monitor, block and, where necessary, take down all illegal content.
You might ask, "Why now?" In the past few years, the ability to upload content to the internet has become easier than ever. All someone needs is a smartphone and a Wi-Fi connection.
Now, our requirements address the risks associated with this activity. And that starts with strong content control measures and clear, unambiguous and documented consent.
Other updated requirements include:
Documented age and identity verification for all people depicted and those uploading the content
Content review process prior to publication
Complaint resolution process that addresses illegal or nonconsensual content within seven business days
Appeals process allowing for any person depicted to request their content be removed
Strengthening relationships, commitments
These additional requirements build on years of work from our teams, creating the processes, establishing industry standards and setting todays foundation in place. It includes relationships with law enforcement and other groups like Interpol, Europol, the National and International Centers for Missing and Exploited Children, the International Anti-Counterfeiting Coalition and the Center for Safe Internet Pharmacies, among others.
More recently, we added to our commitments through relationships with the Internet Watch Foundation and We Protect Global Alliance. Both of these organizations are leading the charge to fight sexual exploitation, protect the youngest consumers and make the internet a safer place for people of all ages.
The evolution of our registration programs is critical to ensure that we as well as those who connect merchants to our network understand who we are doing business with and what can be expected of their activities.
Were committed to doing everything in our power to ensure only lawful activity takes place on our network. In the process, we also hope to improve content controls to benefit people with the greatest need for these protections.
Maybe MasterCard or any other credit provider do not want to be associated with a website that is so full of fraudulent profiles where people can freely break the law by posting media they hold no copywriter for.
If you read the Mastercard requirements, you will now know that anyone "depicted" will need to prove identity. This means that anyone who posts a photo must prove that the photo is really them regardless of certification status. This requirement alone should eliminate 90 percent of the people here including all of the fakes, frauds, phonies, scammers, and those with multiple profiles. If this is not done by the site administrators, then I am certain that Mastercard will now get a ton of reports of the fakes and phonies instead of the current system where members endlessly flag fake profiles to no avail because mods are too busy kicking out the legit members from the chat room here instead of getting rid of the fakes.

They just don't want anonymous nudes. They don't care about fake profiles with clothed photos or no photos.A company that size would just sever its relationship with this site if it wasn't in compliance. They're not going to do anything about individual profiles. On the topic of flagging profiles, I think every profile that I've flagged has been removed, so I'm not sure why it isn't happening for you.
Very true that most are too lazy to be bothered with reporting anything to Mastercard. Mastercard is also too greedy to be dropping paying customers. What Mastercard says is most likely just to pacify the government. This whole thing is just another scam used to dupe people into believing that something is being done when in fact nothing will be done. This is much like laws that are created and on the books but either not ever enforced or selectively enforced. Much like the selective enforcement of laws against Blacks which led to the Black Lives Matter movement. Most white people who never experienced such selective enforcement of laws would not understand.
If it is true that every profile that you have flagged has been removed, then congratulations because you are in the select minority here called the 'preferred group'. Many others here have reported over and over again only to see the same profiles never removed. Scammers are also allowed to sit in the chat room and remain as long as they are not openly soliciting for money. Most know they are scammers and flagging such scammers is useless. In addition, this site is still overloaded with fakes and scammers and so if everyone is responded to as you claim that you are responded to (i.e. removal of all profiles that are flagged) then this site would be squeaky clean. It very obviously is not. Enjoy your status as the 'preferred one' for as long as you have it. Most here will never achieve that status.
If you are paying with a Mastercard or Visa Credit Card, here in the UK, you have to be 18 to have one, so that alone proves that the person is of age or older, their information is recorded as part of the process, as in DOB, Address etc.
As I am already a member, I use a Debit card which is not the same as a Credit card. So if I want to add new pictures, does that mean I have to forward additional information, just to prove that I am a Real Nudist, even though I already have pictures of myself on here.
I don't care what Mastercard are asking or think they need. The privacy issues alone are one thing, but the risk of Identity Fraud is an even bigger problem. As someone has stated on here already, those admin approving payments are sometimes using their own computers, so that means they are not Secure. They could be hacked without even knowing they are ! So, what happens when there is a Data Breach ! Do we just have to suck it up and forget or do we get Mastercard or whoever to pay us out for risking our data, pictures etc, when it actually happens.
We have all heard of the data breaches by some of the biggest companies on the planet, so what gives Mastercard the right to demand proof of Real Adults putting their personal pictures on a Nudist Site ? Which as far as I see has fuck all to do with them (apologies for the one use of language).
In some respects, this smacks of Big Brother wanting or thinking they need to know more about you or the sites you are using and paying for with their Credit Card ! It's funny how they are not bothered when it comes to paying the bill for your CC use, regardless of where you have used it or on which website for that matter.
This is not a porn site, it's not what this site is about, so, again, as someone has mentioned, what the hell does it have to do with them if you choose to put your naked pictures on here. The fact that whatever card you use to make a payment, that should be enough information that they hold on you, to prove who you are.
It will either end this site or Mastercard have some other reason for sticking their nose into something that has nothing to do with them. As for sending things like a copy of one's driving licence to prove who any of us are, you can go jump in the nearest lake ! Again, massive privacy and fraud risk, even though Driving Licences are different for each country. They still contain highly personal information that no company, other than TrueNudists needs for any one person to join this site.
One thing no one should have to give is something like your National Insurance Number just to put a frigging nude picture on this site.
Fellow users, as of October 15th, Mastercard will enact new regulations that will affect the content sharing policies on the website. This will only apply to uploading media, and webcam broadcasting. All other facets of the site remain unchanged. This is not a change we desired, but MasterCard represents about 50% of our sales, and we must comply if we want to keep the lights on and the servers chugging away. The basic overview is thatIf you would like to upload nude content you must verify that you are of legal age by completing our certification process. You must only upload content of which you are the legal copyright holder or have permission to do soAlthough we understand the privacy implications of this, we are dedicated to ensuring the safety and security of your personal information, as we always do.Due to the nature of this lifestyle, and the implications to some, we began the site with privacy being paramount. Unlike other major social media sites :We do not sell ANY user data users to ANYONE.We allow users to adjust their privacy settings to their degree of anonymity. We do not cater ads, track you or analyze your usage for marketing. This is how we have continued to grow year after year. We're working to make this as painless as possible and we appreciate your patience as we work out some kinks. Please don't direct your frustrations at the already overworked volunteers that work day and night to keep this a safe and nurturing community. Please direct those frustrations at the credit card companies and your government representatives.Thank you again for making this the great community that it is.teamtrue2
We already have to prove who we are with a naked and dressed version of our pictures, if that person is the same in both pictures and the background is the same, our verification to this site should be enough. Also additional picture of ourselves, if the person is us in the same verification pictures, then is stands as clear as day, that it is me in any additional pictures I put on here, regardless of what background is behind me.
I am not having a pop at any member of the team here, but , it should make no damn difference what card we use to pay for our registration to this site, we are the ones paying for the use of which ever credit or debit cards we use, they are still getting their money, so, again, I ask what the hell does it have to do with Mastercard ? Regardless of what they think they are doing or trying to prove.

As indicated previously, it has nothing to do with what card *you* use. It has to do with whether or not TN wants to be able to continue to accept MasterCard payments which is apparently about 50% of their payments. MasterCard is covering itself from liability from being involved in the sale of child porn, defamation, etc. Since they are a large organization with deep pockets lawyers will pull them in wherever they can. They are setting blanket rules for companies that want to do business with them as they also cant get accused of treating customers differently.
