RE:Men's Essentials?

Clothes are only put on these days when I have to visit anyone, otherwise live totally naked 24 hours per day.

What is underwear? Not worn for years.Sleepwear?Have slept in my birthday suit since being 12 years old.Is this not the norm?

How did your parents react to you sleeping nude?
Were either of them nude sleepers also?

A tooth brush, food and boose are essential, not underwear.

What is a boose?

There was a post a while back that someone arrived at a clothing optional resort and walked in nude, bringing only car keys and a toiletries case. Gives a new meaning to the concept of bare essentials.

I actually like wearing pajamas during the winter time. I can't sleep in them but for lounging around the house they are great. I may be a nudist but I don't see a point of wasting electricity to heat my home just to be nude.

I use sweat pants instead.

I have no idea why anyone would want to own any sleepwear it seems very strange to me how someone could get undressed then put on other clothes for sleeping in.

In the US, the most common thing for men to do is remove their outer clothing and sleep in their underwear. I gather that is not a common practice in the UK. From what I have read here and elsewhere, most men there either sleep nude or in some kind of sleepwear.

I have a couple of sets of pajamas. I have no idea where they are. I think minimalist75 is right about us Americans. I sleep in underwear or naked. I am naked most often.

I don't have underwear or pajamas so I always sleep naked.
When I stopped wearing winter weight pajamas, I kept one pair for cool mornings but soon decided to wear sweats on those occasions.
Similarly when I switched to boxers, I kept one pair of summer weight pj's for when I was sharing a bedroom with someone beside my wife.
I soon decided to use gym shorts instead.

They both got buried in one of my drawers.
I eventually found them. By the time I did, I probably hadn't worn either of them for at least 10 years, probably longer for the heavy ones.
It still felt great to give them away and know that I had no more sleepwear.

Was back in the same store yesterday. Sleepwear display was much than 2 months ago, as expected when spring is approaching. However the space is now full of swimsuits. Probably more needed than sleepwear or underwear because there are few places that you can't swim without one, but still far from essential.
