I've often thought of it but the price has stopped me.

Any idea why it costs more than most cruises with a similar itinary?
I have heard that the boat is generally full, so that is not an issue.

The cruise line wants to make the same amount of profit for chartered cruises as for their regular cruises. Bare Necessities (and other companies that run themed charters) also want to make a profit. A lot of times, themed cruises import special entertainment and guests that must be paid for. I don't know if the Nude cruise does that.

I think because it is a specialty cruise they definitely charge double/triple the cost of a normal cruise. You can only book through Bare Necessaties and like any travel agency, they add to the cost to cover for their services. The one thing I don't like is that it's non-refundable.
