They look great.

Ah, variety is the spice of life! At least we're discussing Skinz versus Aussiebum rather than whether boardies stop above or below the knee.

Not into clown shorts. Short shorts own 3pairs. Skippy swim briefs are great for public beaches where nudity isn't an option.

They seem to have settled on full, 3/4 and 1/2. Presumably anything less is effectively a thong. If it can sit across the cheeks most of the time rather than continually riding up, then I'm happy with calling it half.

I guess if you divide the area around the base into 4 parts, front, back, left and right, 4" would cover half the back.
I was thinking more in terms of just dividing into front and back. Then half back would be at least 8".

Whatever it is, I find it adequate. Feels quite comfortable. :-)

I'm gIad you find it adequate for clothing required public settings. Too brief for me.
I wore mine for swimming, sunning and pool maintenance before I got a privacy fence.
Now I don't wear anything!

These have been my go-to option for swimming pools and that last ride back from the reef. Looks like too much fabric to my eyes from the rear, now, but probably the rest of the population may see things differently.

A lot more coverage than a sunseeker and about the same as the minimum that I am comfortable with in a clothing required public setting.

That's enough coverage for sure. I'd definitely wear them at public beaches.
