Now it's got us!

I heard about photos in groups which are deleted without any recognizable reason. I have had until now no experiences with that. Now it's got us. A member has put some nice photos into our group. To make it clear I didn't delete them. Maybe a moderator saw a problem with the rules in one of the photos. But why delete them all? I like all the photos you put in our group but females are underrepresented there. So I was very delighted about some photos of a woman. I hope a second try brings more success.

The real trouble is that rule interpretation and enforcement is completely left up to the individual moderator. There is no consistency.

This inconsistency and need to post pix multiple times makes it too onerous to bother. Combined with other issues such as the antique platform and the proliferation of spammers, it's contributing to the overall erosion of this site. Fortunately there is still a critical mass of people here to make up for it, but such long slow declines usually lead to a quick and unexpected collapse. Enjoy while it lasts!

I don' t know how this site was 10 years ago and if it was better that time but I disagree with your negative opinion about this site:

...the proliferation of spammers, it's contributing to the overall erosion of this site.

Each and every one of us can make it better. Flag and ignore the spammer and not like them as some even long-time member do it.

I believe the technical term for that is cascade failure.such long slow declines usually lead to a quick and unexpected collapse. Enjoy while it lasts!Everything looks like it's still holding together and then there's a "last straw" event that causes the entire thing to collapse in on itself.

I get at least two spam accounts trying to "connect" with me every day. The profile image is almost always that of a women with big tits and a facial expression that screams, "I don't have two brain cells to rub together." I've run afoul of psycho moderators. I've had totally innocuous images deleted -- plants, flowers, landscapes -- while spread-eagle gaping-cunt images were left in place -- although I reported them.

Now, don't misunderstand, I'm by no means offended by spread-eagle gaping-cunt images. If I don't like an image, I'm not required to look it it. It's just that substantially more bland images of men are much more likely to get deleted.

Probably just some moderator over stretching their authority

I was definitely dealing with a psycho moderator.Probably just some moderator over stretching their authorityBut they don't seem to last long.

I've occasionally found that posting the same pics at different times of the day gets different results. Perhaps different moderators have different interpretations and tolerance and different moderators are active at different times of the day. I am yet to work out the best time to get the 'relaxed' moderator...
