Multiple Sunscreens to Combat Farmers Tan

So, I am one of many afflicted with the dreaded "Farmer's Tan". For those that do not know about this, it is where a persons tan lines are such that when you are naked, you can easily tell that the person has worn a shirt and shorts or jeans for much of their life by the telltale signs of lighter skin color where the shirt and pants would be.
Since becoming a nudist, this tan was more prevalent than it was in the past, usually only noticable when wearing swim trunks. So, now I have to get 2 different strengths of sunscreen so that I do not overcook the parts of skin already tanned while trying to tan that pasty light parts of me.
Has anyone else had to deal with this or am I just in my own catagory? I am currently trying a 36 SPF on arms, legs and head while just a 15SPF, enough to block harmful rays but still get tanned where I need it. I only tan at the nude beach, so no tanning beds for me, but I can tell a slight darkening of the skin that wa slighter, but wonder if it will ever catch up to the other parts that are darker with years of having arms and legs exposed to sun.

Have a great day!

I've thought about trying this, but have never actually done it. My arms, from short sleeves down, are always so much more tanned then the rest of me, mostly because of time coaching sports outside. You'll have to report back and let me know if your successful in getting to a more 'balanced' tan.

It'll work, if you get the SPF right.
Personally, I use an SPF 50 or 60 on already tanned parts, until the rest catches up.
I've been complimented on the even tan at resorts, so it does work, but be careful you get the sunblock right, else you'll end up with what looks like a weird skin condition.

I don't use different sunscreens to balance my tan. But since I am outside a lot nude I don't have distinct tan lines. I also wear sleeveless shirts at time when I do have to wear a shirt, to that helps blend in my tan.

I wear sunscreen almost daily. I do not worry if there are tanlines...there are none. I do not lay out in the sun, but I can be seen in the shade at clubs and get reflected sun. The reason I don't layout is I do not want my skin to look like the leather of a horse saddle.
