This Is the Year
I've said I was going to transform this body for a decade now. I've lost some weight, but real and significant changes to my lifestyle that would result in real and significant changes to my body have not happened. And I'm not getting any younger.
January 16 to December 31 is 50 perfect weeks, so I'm focusing hard on using every one of those 350 days to improve, little by little, until the difference is undeniable.
While the attached photo is not nude (I didn't have time on the 16th, the kickoff date), I'm sure there will be some soon enough, ha ha.
Best of luck to you on your journey! I'm trying to make some healthier lifestyle changes as well. I tend to be cyclic in my weight gain / loss and the cycles have grown much quicker as I've aged. I hope that this is the year that we both make the changes required to be where we want to be. :)
My philosophy is "This is the shift" rather than the time, the weight, the exercise routine, the diet or the gym. If there's any magic bullet out there, I've failed to find it. Rather, it's a more a series of small tweaks for the better that offer practical returns, and the biggest hinder is random small tweaks which offset them. We all know our own unsolicited advice and need the fortitude to follow them with the right balance of being gentle on ourselves as needed but not putting up with a lot of self-crap. Good luck!
