Wildman Weekend

Almost 20 years ago I was involved in the "men's movement". It was a very powerful and transformational phase of my life. It initially included a "wildman weekend" with about 200 men. It was an intensive experience which included everything from fire ceremonies, drum circles, emotional "men's work", initiation and celebration. The weekend resulted in being on a smaller "team" of men which met weekly; that team was part of a larger group in the community.
Has anyone else ever been involved with such "formal" process?

Yes. I have done a Wildman Weekend. Over the years the name has changed to NWTA (searchable term on the web.) I did my weekend aobut 6 years ago, and return to staff regularly. Ask if you want more info.

I was also involved in several of those weekends, including facilitating one or two. It was great work, and created some wonderful healing for men as well as wonderful, strong bonding friendships!!!

Yes, I too experienced much healing and transformation through the program. I continue to be semi-active. Glad to find other brothers on TN.
