Pools mid-wales

Met someone and relocated to mid wales (sort of) from Pembrokeshire. Been trying out the swimming pools near me. Ive descovered the Tywyn pool has lanes at least but the change room is divided into many large rooms instead of one open space. Very strange. Walls instead of lockers dividing the space. The shower space is also tiny. So i tried Machynlleth instead. The changeroom as almost a perfect layout with open locker room and a large open shower space. Though the pool itself is tiny with no lanes. Its so bizarre to have a pool without lanes. Anyone know what Harlech is like or if there is another pool to use nearby such a at a caravan park?

If you ever venture down south, Swansea's pools have communal showers. I currently use Penlan and most men shower naked and my wife tells me that about half the women do as well in the segregated changing rooms which have no cubicles for showering or changing.
Unfortunately, the male and female changing rooms are closed to the public at school swimming times. We all have to use the family changing village which is all cubicles for changing. There are two shower cubicles for showering naked and a communal shower area where everybody showers in their swimwear.
