Is there a general consensus that Shangri La is the best resort to go to? We are a new nudist couple and are looking for recommendations. Well also be moving to Phoenix soon so this is extra relevant for us
This is a easy one and I will break them down simply. Shangri-La is very old and very reasonably priced. Lots of RV camping, probably 70% campers and RVs? They have very plain rooms, 3 star, dont expect Holiday Inn!
I try and get there at least 2 times a year. Being just north of Phoenix its real close if you move.
Now Mira Vista, is very nice. Only a few camping spots. (50?) The rooms are nice and clean, but you pay for that. The grounds look great, pools very nice. I have only gone a few times, far drive from northern Arizona. Its a just north of Tucson, which is farther than Shangri-La. If you moved to way south of the valley it would be a bad drive, pure desert landscape on the drive.
Hope that helps
We'll be in the east valley, we don't mind driving any amount of distance. Thank you for the info, we'll take our time researching and exploring. I'm sure we'll make our way to all resorts available in time. Any place you recommend on the west coast if driving time isn't an issue?

Someone on another board who is retired and lives near Phoenix goes to Shangri La frequently. He has spent as much as 3 weeks there, driving both ways nude and bringing no clothing.
